ALEXANDER GARCIA BARRERAS “EL VIVO”-CONGAS

Born into a musical family which includes the great Cuban singer Roberto Faz, El Vivo has played with a number of Cuban acts and ensembles including Muzo y su Gran Sonora, director Rolando “El Muzo” Montero; Conjunto Caribeño; Andy Gola y Colé Colé; Jelengue; Conexión Salsera; “El Macry” Luis Frank; and Roberto Blanco among others. Currently, El Vivo works with Banda Termidor the Timba Records session band in addition to the Buena Vista Social Club sequel group, Soneros de Verdad.
